The Dragon slayer 6k race will take place on May 18th, 2008 at 10:00am.

The winner of the 2008 race receives airfare and entry into the 2009 Disney 1/2 marathon!

Course: A beautiful 6k run will begin at the York High school, continue along the beach and past the scenic Nubble Lighthouse ending on Short Sands Beach at Ellis Park. After the race there will be a 1/2 mile fun run.

The Fun Run will take place on Ocean Avenue. This race will begin immediately following the 6k.

Transportation: The York Trolley is a very special tradition for us at this event, , and has very graciously, once again offered its magnificent service of free transportation for the race participants from the finish line, (York Beach gazebo) back to the High School.
